How a chiropractic practice started showing up in AI answers
Patients now ask ChatGPT and Claude who to see before they search on Google. If your practice isn't in those answers, those patients never reach your front door. CJW Chiropractic Solutions changed that in a few weeks. This is what happened and what other practices can take from it.
The starting point
Dr. Courtney Williams wanted new patients to find his practice when they asked AI platforms for a chiropractor. The practice was not showing up in those answers.
Practices like this face a common problem. A patient asks a platform for a chiropractor near them and gets a short list of names. The patient usually books from that list. A practice that isn't on it doesn't get a chance to compete on price, reviews, or quality.
What AI visibility means
AI visibility is how often platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok recommend or cite your business when someone asks about a service you offer. A citation is a named mention, often with a link to your site. You can measure it. You ask the platforms the same questions your patients ask and record which businesses they name.
That measurement comes first. It shows where you stand today and which local competitors the platforms name instead of you.
The platforms draw on what they can read and trust. A site that states its services, location, hours, and insurance answers in plain language gives them something to quote. A site that hides those answers behind vague copy gives them nothing.
What we did
We started by asking the AI platforms the questions local patients ask about chiropractic care. We recorded the answers and compared them with what nearby practices were getting.
Then we built a new site for CJW. It has clear pages for each service, plain headings, and answers placed at the top of each page. It loads fast and carries the business details that search engines and AI platforms read. The site went live in July 2026.
We wrote the pages that answer patient questions in Dr. Williams's voice. Nothing went live without his approval. We also put Fred on the site. He works as the front desk and handles hours, services, insurance questions, and booking. He never handles symptoms or medical history.
The work followed our 90-day approach. The first 30 days set a baseline next to local competitors. The next 30 fixed the site structure and business information and filled in the answer pages. The last 30 put new content live in his voice, with a first comparison of how the platforms answered before and after.
The result
AI platforms started citing CJW about six weeks after launch. In the first two months, 10 new patients said they found the practice through ChatGPT and 3 through Claude. That is 13 new patients from AI, on top of patients from search and Fred.
"In the first two months, 10 new patients told us they found us through ChatGPT, and 3 more through Claude."
What other practices can take from it
- Find out where you stand. Ask the AI platforms what your patients ask and see who they name.
- Answer questions directly. Put the answer in the first lines of each page, then add detail.
- Keep your business details the same everywhere. Name, address, phone, and hours should match across your site and your listings.
- Give every service its own page. Platforms cite pages that answer one question well.
- Give patients an easy next step. A front desk that answers at night and books a visit turns an answer into an appointment.
- Give it time. CJW was cited about six weeks after launch, not the next day.
The work also doesn't stop at launch. After the first 90 days, the real questions patients ask Fred feed the next round of content, so the site keeps answering what people actually want to know.
Results vary by market, and we can't promise the same numbers. We can show you where your practice stands. The free AI visibility check asks the platforms your patients' questions and shows the answers next to local competitors.
A note on patient privacy
Fred does not discuss symptoms or medical history. A patient who raises one is pointed to the office. [one sentence on HIPAA]
